Designing a more inclusive and equitable coworking future – London Coworking Assembly April Breakfast

For our April London Coworking Assembly Breakfast, we are back at Herman Miller to talk about inclusion, diversity, accessibility and equity.

We often hear some version of “I know this stuff is important, but I don’t know where to begin and never seen to find the time!”

Instead of a lecture, we’ve got KateBertie and Gerald to chat and riff on what is important to you at this moment in time.

Our sessions like this are open conversations where you can ask questions and connect in person with your peers in the London coworking industry.

London Calling

London is one of the most diverse cities on the planet, and coworking is one of the most inclusive and collaborative industries.

However, many of the underrepresented voices in society are still lacking in the London coworking scene.

They are lacking from the staff and owners of workspaces and in the members and visitors.

Also, follow the monthly Coworking I.D.E.A. Project.
To lead the conversation, you have:

Gerald Vanderpuye – Cofounder Impact Brixton

Along with his start-up founder knowledge, Gerald knows what it is like to build a coworking space in a London neighbourhood.

They have grown Impact Brixton has grown into a vibrant and connected part of the local community in Brixton.

What is the London Coworking Assembly thing?

We’re a 100% self-funded, fiercely independent group of people who have been in the coworking industry for more than a decade.

We’re mainly independent coworking space owners.

Also, community managers, software companies and local London authorities participate in our events and projects.

We serve London but are long time contributors to the European coworking community.
