We’re back with Alex and Claire for this episode.

They previously had a talk about how when one door closes, another one opens when Claire and co opened The Melting Pot Edinburgh.

For this episode, they deep dive into the future of work in the post-pandemic era. And they also talk about how coworking spaces will contribute to the future of the office.

How do you see the future of work?

Let’s break it down. To be clear, we’re talking about the future of work for people who sit at computers, not those who work in shops, service, industry, hospitality, etc.

So I’ll preface whatever I say with that audience in mind, service-oriented, computer-oriented companies. So I believe the future of work will be hybrid, with greater freedom in where, when, and how individuals work. In order to keep their employees, companies must consider how to attract and retain employees when competing employers provide work circumstances that employees prefer.

So it’s just become more complicated. The pay is part of the benefits package, I guess. What are the working conditions? Is it pliant? Is it far? hybrid What companies must offer their workers has become more complicated as people have realised they have more power and autonomy than before. That’s what I expect for the future of employment.
